Taking inspiration from the painting “Prospettiva 1” (Perspective 1) by Martino Zanetti, Col Sandago will show up with a new matching image at Vinitaly 2018, from 15 to 18 April in Verona.
Located in the heart of the D.O.C.G. Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore production area, in the province of Treviso, Martino Zanetti’s viticultural gem remains faithful to its own identity of excellence while using a new communication code, which will debut at the Verona event.
Col Sandago extends over the hill of the same name, between Susegana and Pieve di Soligo, an area where many factors contribute to the production of fine wines with a strong character. Thanks to its soils, composed mainly of calcareous clays, the protection offered by the Pre-Alps of Treviso, optimal exposure, and an altitude between 250 and 300 meters, Col Sandago’s microclimatic conditions are favorable to vines.
The new journey starts from the restyling of the bottles for Col Sandago’s D.O.C.G. and D.O.C. sparkling wines, with a relief design fully covering its surface and recalling, in a stylized way, the motifs of the painting, while Martino Zanetti’s engraved signature on the lower front part gives an exclusive touch to the bottle. The label is enhanced in every detail with gold, silver and bronze foil as well as precious finishes. This immediately highlights the belonging to a territory where the three Col Sandago D.O.C.G. spearheads stand out as unique, different interpretations of the most representative vine variety of the area, the Glera, which best expresses itself here in a traditional version, harmonious and distinctive: Undici, Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. “Rive di Susegana” dry, Vigna del Cuc Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. brut, Case Bianche Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. extra dry. The new look, with a black label and gold and silver lettering, also applies to the Prosecco D.O.C. in its extra dry and brut versions.
The space that welcomes Col Sandago’s new graphic and stylistic identity is a stand which reproduces on its surfaces, thanks to plays of empty holes and colorful discs, the motifs engraved on the bottle. The new wine vision of the brand will soon extend to the whole image of the Tenuta and to its full range of wines.
An opportunity for discussion with the industry decision makers, to whom Col Sandago will offer a new, never-before-seen image of itself.
